My Time at KIT has come to an end. Since January 2016 I am a PostDoc at ETH Zurich.

PhD Thesis

My PhD thsis on "Engineering Aggregation Operators for Relational In-Memory Database Systems" was supervised by Prof. Dr. rer. nat. Peter Sanders and carried out with our industry partner SAP in the SAP HANA database department. My research interests in this project were:

  • Engineering core algorithms of in-memory database systems
  • Succinct data structures in in-memory database systems
